Event Planner

I organized the Salt Lake Ageplayers munch, which was held at a public park. I blow up pink balloons and attach them to the table we are sitting to hopefully help new people be able to better know which group of people to approach. I thought it was a pretty good turn out, about 12-14 people were there. It seemed to go well, a few different activities were going on, coloring and croquet. I took time to gather everyone together and we went around in a circle to introduce ourselves to each other, which I think is important and helps the newer people get to know names. I'd like to have more activities that includes everyone in them because it seems like the munches tend to break up into several smaller groups.

Outstanding Scout

This badge goes to any scout who goes above and beyond to help the troop on numerous occasions.  The troop leaders will award this badge to those troop members who we think epitomize this.

The blanket I made for a friend who was having a surgery.  It's fleece and I cut and crocheted the edge of the blanket.

The Sonic is made out of paper, cut out, folded and glued.  I made it for a friend's kid who really likes Sonic and video games.

This picture is of my Uni, the unicorn and Baby Whale.  I made them out of perler beads and ironed them.

Education Level 1

Get Me Out Of This Box class:
I liked this class, my Big taught it and I liked the interaction in the class. What I got from the class was even in this accepting community that we still build some stereotypes and boxes we place people in based on different titles. In this community just because one person uses a word to help identify themselves it does not mean that title means the same thing to the next person. Ask questions, don't assume and don't make broad judgments about people.

The DM class:
I'm glad I was able to finally take this class. I learned a few different things to look for to see signs of a stroke and heart attack. I was given more tools of how to handle a situation when a Top may be upset or angry if I were to have to step in and stop something for the safety of the players. I also learned what shock can look like and some things to do for someone in shock.

Fire Building class:
This class was fun and informative. They talked about how to build a fire in different conditions, what every fire needs and a few different ways of how to start a fire. They talked about what tinder and kindling looked like and what is good to used for that. The teachers also shared a few different versions of how you can stack the logs to build fires, and which versions are best for windy conditions, slow burning long lasting fires and easy and fast building fires that work well for an evening like for our campfire we had.

Volunteering Level 1

My first 10 volunteer hours were spent building the foundation of the troop.

In my 10 hours I have worked on the following:

  • Researched troop information from other troops

  • Researched website design

  • Created the website and the pages it entails, including submission forms and calendars

  • Set up the Gmail and calendar and linking it to the website and form submissions

  • Fetlife group and profile

  • KiK group

  • Researched sash designs and requirements

  • Made sashes

  • Decided on the badges we would have available to earn and their requirements

  • Created / found images for the badges

  • Made badges

  • Created the rankings and requirements

  • Experimented with different fabrics and ways of accomplishing a good looking badge, but also kept the cost down so that it didn't cost troop members tons in order to buy their badges when they earn them.

Education Level 2

I Helped MrsPixi with her First Aid class she taught to our troop. I helped with power point presentation, organizing it and grouping the information. I also helped set up the supplies that her and I brought as visual aids in the class but things everyone attending could put in their kit to make their own first aid kit. I had fun finding some of the images and changing out the images that were more gruesome to ones that were slightly more kid like and fun for ageplayers.

Nap Pro

  • Nap 1 6/2 On couch after going to the Jungle Book movie, I like my comfy couch and blankie.

  • Nap 2 6/7 After being at the ER, was exhausted and it felt nice to be home and get some rest.

  • Nap 3 6/16 In the car on road trip, tired from a long road trip, was nice to trust my friend to drive for a bit.

  • Nap 4 9/15 Wasn't feeling well, napped on the couch.

  • Nap 5 9/19 In evening napped when got home from mom's place, nice to recharge.

Volunteering Level 2

My 25 volunteer hours were spent building the foundation and keeping up with the demands of the troop.

I have worked on the following:

  • Measuring sashes to people and altering them for optimal fit per person.

  • Making badges when people earn their badges.

  • Documenting and keeping up with the troop spendings and when troop members buy sashes and badges.

  • making munch and event pages and pimping them.

  • Researched troop information from other troops

  • Researched website design, created the website and the pages it entails, including submission forms and calendars

Do You Wanna Play? (Negotiations)

I attended a Negotiations Class on 8/4/16.

  • Mock negotiation 9/15 about being hit with two different canes on the bum. We talked about what specific toys would be used and where they would be hitting me.

  • Negotiations with both my bigs on 3 different occasions about cell popping. We talked about how to make my heart, what it would feel like, and that I would like to be warned when first starting so I knew when it was coming. They also gave me the information on the tools they would used and afterwards cleaned the area.

  • Negotiated about helping with a wax scene, I made the candles and brought the things needed for the scene (crock pot for warming candles, drop cloths, candles.)

  • Negotiated about a sensual massage scene and continued to check in and talk about what was feeling good and not feeling good during the scene. I brought things to combine and make a good oil that she would like. We used a few objected she had during the massage, like plastic back massage tools.

  • I have been continuously negotiating with someone about a future scene to be had. We have talked about health issues, where I would enjoy impact type stuff, what this person would enjoy doing as a top and if he has any limitations.

Fire Starter

  • Built a fire during a road trip.

  • Helped build fires for the past few campfires the scout and ageplay group has had.

Rock Candy experiment

I made rock candy with one of my Bigs, we tried to follow instructions to make rock candy in 4 hours instead of the ones that take about a week or so to grow. It worked pretty well but did look different in the end, it tasted good though!

Rainbow Crayon Melting experiment

I made rainbow art! It was a cool experiment, to see at what heat the crayons melt, if different colors seemed to melt faster, if I tilt the canvas at more of an angle what difference it makes to the crayon wax melting. What I did was took a box of crayons and arranged them in a rainbow order then took the paper off of each crayon and hot glued them to a canvas. Then I melted them with a blow dryer. I thought it would be fun to add glitter so I bought different colors of glitter and sprinkled it on top and melted the wax some more, it was really cool to see where the glitter went, and in the end I had an awesome rainbow art piece!

Blood born pathogens are viruses or bacteria that live in the blood. They are transmitted when blood or body fluid of someone who has been infected is exposed to someone else through cuts, needles, anywhere both people's blood is exposed and exchanged. They can possibly be transmitted through other bodily fluids. Also, some can live for a while on a dried surface, like Hepatitis B, can live up to a week.

Safety in my every day life is important. I also have some stuff set up for things that don't happen daily, like an emergency backpack if something were to happen, like an earthquake. I try and be aware of my surroundings when I'm out in public, especially alone and make sure my home and car are locked.

The first aid class on 8/21/16 went over first aid for basic BDSM situations also.

I chose to research about Violet Wands and playing with them. The guideline I read about playing with a violet wand stated to always make sure your violet wan is off before plugging it in. When turning it on, put it on the lowest setting and test it out on yourself before your play partner. Also, do not use a violet wand on people with heart disease, seizure disorder, epilepsy, nerve damage, anyone with any electronic device or implant, like a pacemaker or cochlear implant, or people who are pregnant. The guidelines also stated that if you are new with using or being the one the wand is being used on, that to start below the waist is best because then you can get used to the feeling of it then with more experience dabble with it closer to the chest and head. Do not have other electronic devices near by the violet wand.
